Packaging/ Graphic Designer



Full time Graphics/ Packaging Designer required on a temp to perm basis for a busy company within the Sutton Coldfield area.



You must be able to use Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel. The studio uses Apple Mac, therefore a good knowledge of this system is required. The job requires the following: Create cutter guides in Illustrator.An ability to create print ready artwork, manage packaging critical paths for all aspects of the packaging alike, sign off, production, delivery etc. Carry out transit trials. Create full mock ups for the customer to sign off pre-production, liaise with Far East packaging factories. Manage wetproof requests, liaise with customers over packaging issues. Liaise with art houses in the UK, help create trend boards, present innovative new packaging concepts for each season. Upload artwork to customers websites and manage the process.



An amount of product design will be needed as they work with the product designers. A knowledge of photography will be useful.



Attention to detail is vital, experience would be required, and you will be required to travel as part of the role.



You will need to be very organised and a good team player, but to manage your own critical paths.



You must be available for work on a temp to perm basis.



The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, and 8.30am-4.00pm on Fridays
